At the suggestion of Professor Dave Scott, here at McNeese State University, I have decided to do some field research on the different approaches that different professional trumpet performers and pedagogues take to the process of thoroughly warming up. I am interested in which specific, if any, warm-up you use for yourself or your students (i.e. Rapier, Stamp, Thompson Buzzing Book, etc.).
